4 Lessons from Luther on Married Life

Here is the final post from Justin Taylor's Luther and Marriage series

  1. OK, the part about Spalitan's wedding night is weird, but the rest is really good. Luther gives us an important exhortation, and especially for our time; God purposes marriage for our sanctificaton. Sure, God wants us to be happy, but not as much as He wants us to be conformed to the image of His Son. If being married isn't making you happy right now, choose to love anyway. If your married to someone who is hard to love sometimes (or all the time for that matter), learn to love as Jesus loves...unconditionally.
